SEW Ghostly -Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

September is National sewing month, and even thou it's almost October I'm getting a bit of sewing in to celebrate.
Fantabulous Cricut is having another great challenge this week...
Create a project using some type of stitching, hand, machine, or faux stitching

I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge for the spider web and the ghost pg. 49, the spiders are from Doodlecharms cartridge pg. 121. For the letters I used George and Basic Shapes cartridge and used my Design Studio to weld the letters together.

I poked holes in the cut out "boo" using a piercing pad and tool.

Then used a needle and black embroidery floss (2 strands) to hand sew in the holes that I made.

Go check out all the other great projects by Fantabulous Cricut's design team -HERE.
and join us for the "National Sewing Month" challenge.
Boo to you... have a great day!

Hi everyone welcome to Robin's Creative Cottage and our second "Fantabulous Cricut Crawl"...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

If you've come from our wonderfully creative friend "Sharon" at Ladybug Designs, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start -HERE.

In honor of Back To School time, we're calling our second Fantabulous Cricut Crawl
"Button Up For School"
Each Design Team member will be featuring an original project featuring a button AND a Cricut cut somewhere on the project.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be prizes along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be awesome prizes up for grabs at FCCB for three participants that submit a project meeting the "Button Up For School" challenge criteria!

So much fun... Right!!!

I used Doodlecharms cratridge for the apple and apple boarder, I created the card in Design Studio and have a cut file available at the end of this post.

The word "Thank you" was printed using my computer, the I used scissors to cut a tag shape, punched a hole and added twine to the tag.

*****
Come follow my blog and leave a comment on this post and you will be eligible to win my little prize package that I'm offering.
I will announce my winner on Wednesday the 22nd.

Now it's your turn!
