Gift Tag -Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Hello, It's Monday and time for another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog challenge, this weeks theme is...
Trimming With a Tag
Use a tag somewhere on your project

I made a cute box using the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge the largest I could make it on my 12"x 12" mat, I love these little boxes, after folding the box I inked all over the edges. To go along with the challenge theme I made a tree gift tag, It can also be used as a Christmas tree ornament, fun idea huh? The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from Prairie Bird Boutique.
So what's in the box? Divinity, light and fluffy very sweet treat, this recipe has been passed down for a few generations, my husband is our holiday baker and makes many of our Christmas goodies.
Our Fantabulous Cricut sponsor this week is Core'dinations. If you haven't heard of them, they have the most amazing color core cardstock, which is great for sanding, to bring out a second or rather the core color that is beneath the first layer. Core'dinations have been so generous to let a few of the Fantabulous Cricut design team members create using this wonderful cardstock.
To learn more creative ideas using the Core'dinations cardstock click -HERE.
More details:
The trees were cut out using the Christmas Cheer cricut cartridge, I used two different trees in various sizes.
I love using my cuttlebug machine and my embossing folders with the Core'dinations cardstock, because then I can sand the embossed image to show that second color (core color).
The embossing folders that I used are (showing in the photo below from left to right) D'vine Swirl, Swiss Dots (for the star and second tree) Holly Ribbons, and Cindy Loo, there was a small square in one of the large cuttlebug folders that I placed the tree in to emboss it. After sanding I inked all the edges of the trees and star.
Thank you Cor'dinations for donating your lovely cardstock to Fantabulous Cricut design team members!
Remember to head over to Fantabulous Cricut to see what the talented design team members have created, view them -HERE ...and then feel free to join us for this weeks challenge "Trimming with a Tag"

My card today has a vintage flair, and I love it especially the background paper which is from last years DCWV Christmas combo stack (180 sheets) as well as the brown checkered paper.
Here is where I added my "sparkle" this is a fun silver metal brad (the photo looks a bit off), I purchased it years ago from Oriental Trading (item no longer in stalk :(
I stamped using the phrase "A Cup of Good Cheer" right on that beautiful vintage looking paper. Stamp is from my "Gingerbread Holiday" stamp set available -HERE

Holiday Cards -Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to another wonderful Monday where Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog offers another great challenge this week...
the challenge theme: Holiday Cards
Create a holiday card

FCCB's sponsor this week is Creative Charms .com, they have been very generous to let a few of the FCCB design team play with their product. Creative Charms offers oodles of embellishments for your paper crafting needs; brads, beautiful netted flowers and butterflies, ribbon and lots of bling... along with many other lovely products at a very reasonable cost.
Creative Charms
One of the products I used for my rosette card is the vintage Christmas self-adhesive metal frames there are 6 little accents in a package; 1 1/8" inches and the images are simply adorable. I've use 5 of the metal frames in the photo below.
I've wanted to try making these paper rosettes for sometime so I just did a google search for a paper rosette video and found several on You Tube to help me get started... they are super easy and so fun to make, these are going to be addicting!
My large rosette with before scoring is 12" x 1 1/2" the small is 12" x 1"
I place small 1 1/4" circles behind the metal frames before placing on the rosette.
I used my Martha Stewart border punch for the cream border.
Look at the close-ups of the metal charms the images are so cute!
These rosettes would make really cute embellishments for a package

There are many more Holiday cards to be seen made my the talented FCCB design team, you can view them -HERE and then feel free to join in on this weeks challenge "Holiday Cards"

Thank you so much Creative Charms for donating your beautiful products with the FCCB design team. I'm looking forward to creating with more of your quality products.
