Ribbon Banner Christmas Tags

Hi everyone, I have a gift tag to share with you today, this is being featured over at My Craft Spot.

I made up a few quick tags for my Christmas packages, I used the Ribbon Banners Straight metal dies the Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set as well as red jute string, all these products are available at the My Craft Spot Shop -HERE.
I made rosettes using pattern paper and my Martha Stewart score board. Each paper measuered 12" long and 3/4" wide, then scored ever 1/4".
I cut the tags by hand, punched a hole and added a large eyelet with twill ribbon and the red jute string.
Thanks so much for visiting today, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, with your friends and family.

Holly Jolly Christmas Jar

Hi everyone, I have a card to share with you today, this is being featured over at My Craft Spot.

For my card I used the Jar Basics, Christmas Banner Sentiments, and Jar Full of Christmas Stamp sets, Jar Basics and Banners Straight metal dies.

I love the new interactive banner dies, I wanted to give a new twist on the banner and turn it upside down, they can be used any direction you want. The sentiment is stamped with the new Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set.
I used gold embossing powder for the flourish, the outline of the bulbs were stamped in grey ink, the bow in black.
I added lots of inking around the jar and banner to give a vintage feel.
I used green jute twine to tie around the lid.
I love these crackle looking Christmas bulbs from the Jar Full of Christmas stamp set, they are super easy to stamp inside of the bulb because the stamps are clear, you can see through them so you can stamp in just the right place.
All the stamp sets, metal dies and jute twine are available in the My Craft Spot Shop -HERE.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, with friends and family.

Christmas Shape Card -My Craft Spot Challenge

Hello everyone time for another fun challenge at My Craft Spot.  This weeks challenge is...
Christmas Shape Cards
I love making shape cards and this one is very simple, but I love the humble look, and the beautiful sentiments that I stamped using My Craft Spot stamp sets.
My silhouette image is from the Silhouette online store "Christmas Nativity (1 of 2) by Lori Whitlock" I stretched the image just a bit so it would make a taller size card.  I added a simple off set .24, I cut that shape once individually then welded two of the same images together to make the shape card.
The sentiment is from the new Joy Filled Christmas stamp set, I backed it with a small piece of burlap.
For the black silhouette image I used black vinyl, it's cuts beautifully and already has a sticky backing, I love using vinyl on cards.
Close up view of phrase.
This is the inside of my card, the sentiment is from Joy To The World stamp set, the star is from the Merry Christmas stamp set.
Thanks for visiting today, remember to head over to My Craft Spot to see more 'Favorite Techniques' projects made by the My Craft Spot design team -HERE. We would love you to join us for this weeks Christmas shape card challenge.

I'm giving away the Jar Full of Christmas stamp set, so I couldn't resist playing with the set again. I love these cookies in this set so I had to make a plate full of cookies for Santa.

I colored my cookies using Copic markers, all cookie edges are E31 and E35. Blue cookie: B93, B97. Green Cookie: G21, G28. Yellow cookie: Y21, YR23. Red cookie: R22, R29.

Day 5 -Christmas Friends & Neighbors

Hello all my friends, I hope you have followed along this week for the fabulous Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot, I know the design team and I have really enjoyed sharing many inspiring projects with you as today, day 5, the inspiration continues.
We are showing a sneak peek of the new Christmas Friends & Neighbors designed by Kimberly.

The new Christmas Friends & Neighbors stamp set is full of great gift giving sentiments that will add a perfect touch to the treats you give to friends and neighbors during the holidays.
Giving a jar of jam or jelly is a great homemade gift during the holidays, this happens to be a jar of blackberry Jelly.
I had an old piece of tea dyed fabric that I used for the top of my jar, tied with Cranberry crinkle ribbon.

I stamped the jar on decorative paper using the Jar Basics stamp set then cut it out using the Jar Basics metal die,  the lid stamped on gray cardstock, and cut out.  Before stamping my sentiment I lightly stamped a few of the small ornaments from Jar Full of Christmas stamp set.
I attached the jar tag with Natural Jute Twine.
Since my pattern paper was so thin, I cut out the small jar on white cardstock and glued it onto the pattern paper for more stability, then stamped the To and From which is from the Jar Basics stamp set.
Thanks for joining me for day 5 of my sneak peek, please join us tomorrow for the My Craft Spot blog hop where the design team will once again inspire you with more projects using one of the 5 new stamp sets or metal dies, also each design team members (including myself) will be giving away one of the 5 stamp sets or metal dies, generously provided by Kimberly.
All 5 of the stamp sets including the 3 metal dies will be available for purchase tomorrow at My Craft Spot.
One last thing, remember to head over to My Craft Spot today to see the many other amazing projects made by Kimberly and her design team using the brand new Christmas Friends & Neighbors stamp, and leave a comment on Kimberly's blog (My Craft Spot) today for your chance to win Bakers Twine -click -HERE for My Craft Spot.

Day 3 -Ornate Labels Christmas

Hi everyone, welcome to day 3 of the Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot!
Remember each day, there will be prizes at My Craft Spot, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Join us everyday this week!!

Today's sneak peek is the Ornate Labels Christmas stamp set, again I had the privilege of designing this stamp set, which is perfect for your Holiday projects.

In addition to the Ornate Labels Christmas Stamp set I used the coordinating Ornate Labels metal die set that was released in September. I also cut three banners using the new Ribbon Banners Straight metal dies, as well as Vintage Pine crinkled ribbon.
Here is a close up of the label I stamped then cut out with its coordination metal die, then hand cut a layer to go behind.  I love the swirly snow flakes in this stamp set, the set also includes several individual snowflakes which is what I used to stamp in my three Ribbon Banners.
This is a triple loop bow made using the Vintage Pine crinkle ribbon, the flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
